US Solar Decathlon – almost 24 hours in

The First Light team is nearly 24 hours into the build of the bach for the US Solar Decathlon in Washington DC. The team has been divided in two– the red and the blue teams – covering different shifts so that we can work 24 hours a day for the next 5 days.

See the photos attached. First photos are of “Day 0” – of the site being set up by the organisers. There is also a night shot of the site 30 minutes after being allowed on site. Construction start time was 11pm (Washington time).

The next photos are of 14 hours later – as you can see we are working hard!
