Excellence in Property Council New Zealand Awards 09
These prestigious awards are presented to outstanding property developments and recognise excellence in the efficient use of capital in property development, outstanding design and sustainable elements.
Auckland International Airport was awarded Excellence in the Special Purpose Award, with judges commenting that the project is an "outstanding development and gateway to New Zealand. The project will act as a model for future airport buildings." Auckland International Airport also received a Merit Award in the Green Building category.
Te Rauparaha Arena achieved Excellence in the Tourism & Leisure Property Award. Judges commented that it had "quickly become part of the fabric that is Porirua City" and that it "provides a hub for sporting leisure, health, cultural and civic activities."
