Stephenson&Turner Auckland Office Fitout, Auckland
After celebrating the 50th Anniversary in 2006, Stephenson&Turner decided to relocate the Auckland team of architects and engineers to new premises.
One of the primary objectives of the project was to create an open and welcoming environment for S&T’s clients, enabling them to feel part of the team. This was also an opportunity to create an inspirational new working environment for the staff that would encourage creative thinking.
The fitout has a strong sense of openness, movement and interaction between spaces. A glass screen, repeating the angle of the base building, provides physical separation between the entrance area and the quiet meeting room overlooking Victoria Park. The varying levels of light filtering through the screen’s graphic imagery create an ever-changing backdrop to the space.
