Prior to joining S&T in 2001, Fadia worked on specialist design
aspects of large-scale projects through international consultancy
firms, covering a variety of engineering services, in a number of
countries. She is also highly proficient in computer modeling and
simulations associated with the design of engineering systems.
Upon completion of a specialised Post-graduate Diploma in Acoustics and
Noise Control from the UK, Fadia has been providing speciality
consulting services in acoustics to projects undertaken by S&T’s
Auckland and Wellington offices for all types of buildings including
residential, commercial, institutional, public service projects and
special purpose facilities.
Fadia has expertise in architectural acoustics; building acoustics,
sound insulation, noise and vibration control, in addition to
environmental, industrial and occupational noise. Fadia’s acoustic
expertise coupled with knowledge of the design, implementation and
operation of building services permits an integrated, cost effective
approach to acoustic solutions.
