After graduation, Michael Dixon was employed for five years by the Ministry of Energy, Electricity Division, working on upgrading of thermal power station equipment and ancillary services. He the spent seven years as Auckland Engineering Manager for AMP Society, managing the maintenance and operations department for the commercial property that they own.
Michael joined Stephenson&Turner in 1994, and has been involved with a wide range of commercial, institutional and industrial projects. He was made a Director in 1999. His area of expertise are air conditioning and ventilation, and fire engineering design and services. A member of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers, Michael is responsible for all fire engineering undertaken by Stephenson&Turner.
Most recently, Michael has been Director in charge of the complex Fisher & Paykel Healthcare Building industrial project.
