After graduating, Hans worked with various companies; gaining experience as resident engineer in the 200,000mē Leiden University hospital and at the Amsterdam office of Ove Arup.
Hans joined Stephenson&Turner in 2007 as a Senior Mechanical Engineer and was appointed Associate Director in 2009.
Hans key projects includes MAF Reception Building (Designing a 5-Star Green Star Rating. Low energy design and thermal analysis) William Clayton Building upgrade in Wellington, Archives New Zealand and the Mt Eden Prison Redevelopment, Auckland
