Ross Brown joined Stephenson&Turner as a Director in 1998, after several years of extensive design experience in his own practice, Rosso Design an architectural, planning and interior design consultancy. He brought to Stephenson&Turner his specialised expertise in urban design, much sought after by the practice due to its main project focus in the commercial, industrial and institutional sectors.
Prior to operating Rosso Design, Ross worked with Craig Craig Moller Architects as Project Architect for the high-profile Sky City Casino/Hotel and Sky City Tower development.
Ross is the recipient of many Awards in architecture and interior design, among these the Joint NZIA Regional Award in 1997 for the retrofit/refurbishment of Government Buildings for Victoria University Law Faculty in Wellington, and numerous NZIA Branch and National Awards between 1979 and the present for both urban commercial and residential buildings in Wellington.
