International Departures Area, Auckland Airport

After upgrading the 3A arrivals area at Auckland Airport, S&T’s next challenge was to improve the departures experience of travellers leaving New Zealand’s shores.

The project included a revamping of the entire departures area, both before and after security and creates a more spacious and contemporary space for travellers to relax and unwind before their flights.

Travellers now enjoy a smoother emigration process and enhanced retail and dining options. High levels of natural light from the new skylights, New Zealand timbers and a selection of materials, colours and fitouts are designed to remind travellers of their experience in a distinctly Kiwi way.
