Zero.Plus, University of Auckland

S&T participated as a consultant to the University of Auckland's School of Architecture’s project, Zero.Plus, which involved the design and realisation of New Zealand's first zero-emission house.

This ground-breaking project aims initially to develop a house and eventually a neighbourhood to meet international passive house standards as defined by the Passivhaus Institut (Darmstadt, Germany). S&T is involved in the design and construction of this inaugural zero-emission house as a prototype unit. This house will be used as a model to develop a sustainable urban settlement, located in the Auckland region.
