The selected topography for the redevelopment of this city fringe site is that of a building set in a courtyard. The existing six-storey building was retained and refurbished as apartments, while the outer edges of the plaza in which it sits features new office buildings to the north and east, and a car park and utility building to the south. The plaza itself has become a social space, with retail and food outlets and beautiful landscaping inviting both visitors and residents to stay, and stop or shop awhile.
