Stephenson&Turner was approached by Cisco Systems Australia to undertake interior design fitouts of its new premises in Auckland and Wellington.
In addition to the normal office spaces, meeting rooms and service areas, the fitouts were to include specialist training rooms, boardrooms and telepresence rooms at each location. In accordance with Cisco's status as a leading-edge communications company, the fitouts incorporated sophisticated and latest technology. In creating the first telepresence in New Zealand, technology was used to simulate a "virtual meeting environment" whereby meetings can be held between people all over the world, seemingly in the same room.
