Epuni Care and Protection, Lower Hutt, Wellington
This care and protection unit for up to 25 people provides a range of residential care and specialist therapeutic programmes aimed at young people requiring a period of supervision. The campus comprises two residential units with a shared secure wing along with associated teaching and recreational facilities.
The domestic scale of the buildings, and extensive use of existing mature landscaping, allow this facility to fit within the residential neighbourhood.
