Medical Sciences Learning Centre, University of Auckland

This centre, created within existing space at the University of Auckland School of Medicine, provides a purpose-built facility for undergraduate and postgraduate education in anatomy, radiology, pathology and clinical skills.

By combining the existing anatomy and pathology museums, the new centre provides a single, managed teaching and research environment, as well as a medical resource that can be accessed by external partners.

The facility was opened by the Prime Minister, Rt Hon Helen Clark, on 2 December 2005 and was recently honoured with a New Zealand Institute of Architects Award for Architecture.
