The existing premises were well past their use-by date when S&T was approached by the property developer to refit the premises. The solution was to strip it bare and start all over again.
The new clinic comprises separate treatment and consulting wings linked with the reception area - an oasis of calm with pale oak flooring, off-white walls and simple dark grey furniture, illuminated with a soft wash of lighting from the walls and sloping ceiling.
The consulting rooms are just as appealing, with plenty of room, ample natural light, and softly toned colourings of cream and grey. "I was looking for a calm, uncluttered space in which our clients could feel comfortable and reassured, and the result is exactly the environment we were looking for," says client, John Barrett.
The project also included upgraded access and building services with sterile requirements in the treatment rooms.
