Les Mills World of Fitness, Takapuna
Sited on top of a multi-storey carpark in Takapuna, this 1,500 m2 fitout for Les Mills World of Fitness uses the space earlier occupied by a fast food outlet and a nightclub.
Stephenson&Turner undertook the design and documentation of all building engineering services for this speciality health and fitness centre, which incorporated mechanical ventilation design suitable for a large exercise facility, with emphasis on high air flow rates.
Also significant was the lighting of the centre, specially designed to provide suitable light for the facility’s activities, while creating the ambience the client desired.
