Les Mills World of Fitness, Takapuna, Auckland
Sited on top of a multi-storey carpark in Takapuna, this 1,500-square-meter fitout for Les Mills World of Fitness uses space earlier occupied by a fast food outlet and a nightclub.
Stephenson&Turner undertook the design and documentation of all building engineering services for this specialty health and fitness centre, which incorporated mechanical ventilation design suitable for a large exercise facility, with emphasis on high airflow rates.
Also significant was the lighting of the centre, specially designed to provide suitable light for the facility’s activities while creating the ambience the client desired.
