Heritage
Throughout the company’s history, and especially in recent times, S&T have been involved in the assessment and restoration of a variety of existing buildings, including several prominent heritage buildings, across the country. We believe that, as living history, heritage buildings are an invaluable part of our nation’s built environment.
Any activity affecting a listed heritage building should comply with best-practice guidelines for the treatment of heritage buildings outlined in the ICOMOS New Zealand Charter and recommended by the New Zealand Historic Places Trust. S&T have a good understanding of these guidelines, with specialised personnel dedicated to working within them while also ensuring the best architectural results.
