John Wardle

Since registering as an architect in 1978, John Wardle has gained a broad background in all aspects of an architect's role, firstly with the Ministry of Works and Development, then in an architectural practice in London. He joined S&T in 1985 and held the position of Principal between 2005 and 2010.

 John combines a design expertise with an excellent understanding of both urban environments and construction processes to create a diverse portfolio of projects with an intense focus on design.  He has experience in commercial, institutional and residential design and has been involved in multiple award-winning projects including those at Auckland Airport and the University of Auckland. 

As a Consulting Architect and deep thinker, John is particularly skilled in listening to clients and integrating their specific requirements into his designs to deliver innovative solutions for building owners and users.
